Introducing MEDISO
, founded in January 1990 as a gamma camera service group with headquarters in Budapest, grew to a gamma camera manufacturer company that produces and markets different gamma camera types for all clinical applications.
The company's main profile is the development, manufacturing, selling and servicing of nuclear medicine imaging devices. The company - since its foundation - is continuously emerging and as a result of product development and successes in sales, it became a core member on the world market of nuclear medical diagnostic equipment.
Nucline gamma cameras cover the range from SFOV planar to LFOV dual-head SPECT/WB systems. In Hungary, the share of Nucline cameras in all gamma camera equipment in the field is over 80% and Mediso performs 90% of all gamma camera service activity.
Mediso in the past few years strove to seek state-of-the-art yet cost/effective techniques to improve the quality of its product line. Due to these efforts, Mediso acquired a substantial role in the IAEA procurements for developing countries and an increasing share in the European market.
Mediso is Registered ISO 13485:2003 and Certified under Directive 93/42/EEC Annex II for CE Mark.
